On Tuesday 17th Decemeber we were invited as the first guests at the brand new Kingswood Catering Teaching Kitchen.
If you are interested in attending FREE adult learning courses, have a look at this website http://www.incorby.org.uk or pop in to see Louise.
At this time of year, there are lots of things available to eat that perhaps we wouldn't usually have. Please download the easy to read leaflet below to learn more about what to include in healthy lunch boxes. If we are eating properly at mealtimes, then those Christmas snacks aren't a problem!
In January and March 2020, IASS areholding Parent / Carer seminars for Secondary School Transfers of Year 5 students with Special Educational Needs (please see our attached flier) in Kettering, Northampton and Oundle.
Pop along to the Hope Centre and enjoy a 'family feast'. A great way for families to spend some quality time together and start the festive season.
A massive thank you to Corby and Kettering Borough Council for creating a fabulous outdoor learning space (complete with seating, firepit and bug/hedgehog hotel) for our children. The logs have been recycled from around the Corby and Kettering area and the fire pit stones are locally sourced ironstone. The team (Liam, Simon, Steve and Trevor) have worked tremendously hard in the bitter cold over the last two days to create this amazing space for our school community.
A fantastic visit from the Corby and Kettering Borough Council team this morning. Children explored the road sweeper (lots of beeping the horn and singing along to the in cab radio) and were given the honour of naming it. The name chosen was 'Clean Elizabeth'. A super play on words and very fitting for the council's 'Clean and Green' project.
If you are interested in registering for this course, please collect a leaflet and form from the school office.
Well done to our children, staff (and parents who brought in wellies) who ventured out in the pouring rain to support the BBC Children in Need @BBCCiN Rickshaw Challenge. #rickshawchallenge2019 #ChildrenInNeed2019 #StrongerTogether
Looking for some ‘crafty’ Christmas ideas? Come along to our parents and carers free Craft Group on a Wednesday afternoon. This week we made advent calendars. Next week Christmas tree decorations. #GATFamily #StrongerTogether #alwayslearning
Remember, remember the 5th of November. Bonfires and fireworks are fabulous fun for all the family but it is important to be safe. Take a look at the safety advice below from Northants Police.
